Rehabilitation Professional Training Opportunities

Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Neuropsychology - This fellowship between the Woodrow Wilson Rehabilitation Center and the Department of Psychiatry and Neurobehavioral Sciences at UVA includes clinical experiences with a rehabilitation emphasis.  Services are interdepartmental and transdisciplinary in nature, with emphases on practical clinical training, team consultation, didactic educational components, and potential research opportunities. The faculty includes full-time clinical neuropsychologists who provide supervision, training, and professional development opportunities. The fellowship maintains active liaison with other neuropsychology fellowships within this medical center as well as other fellowships in medical psychology (e. g., clinical neuropsychology and forensic programs).

Graduate students in these rehabilitation professions may seek clinical rotations with WWRC Medical Rehabilitation Therapy Departments through application for clinical affiliations offered through their college graduate program’s clinical education process.

Rehabilitation Counseling Internship

WWRC offers two different internship opportunities in the area of Rehabilitation Counseling:

1. 100 hour Internship
2. 600 hour Internship (full college semester)
